Rather surprised by some of the notes... On the other hand, a lot of people are just now waking up to the wonderful value of Rhone-style varietal and blended wines and a GSM blend (Grenache-Syrah-Mouverdre) has a very different taste, perhaps an acquired taste. At about $11-12, this is a tremendous bargain. The three varietals are all well-integrated. The color is garnet, has a raspberry, licorice and sage bouquet. Is medium-bodied, with a herbal finish. Drink NOW. Highly recommend exploring the world of Rhone wines - French, American, Aussie, including GSM blends. This one is a good, everyday, affordable intro...but Rhone wines are a tad different.

This is a Party Wine! $10 a bottle and easily consumed by Novices and Enthusiasts alike. Is it a great wine? ...No Is it palatable? Certainly. ...more than certainly. Yes.
It's not complex, but it's easy drinking. I compare it to a mediocre Merlot. Everyone can drink it, most will like it, but those with a discerning taste won't truly appreciate it. Well, maybe not stated correctly. It will be appreciated, but for what it is. ....a $10 wine.
For $10, tough to go wrong. MUCH BETTER than the $10 Stump Jump Shiraz.

Really not to my liking; very tarte on first tasting, I had difficulty finding anything tangible - fruit, spice, aroma's etc - to identify with. I found it a very thin wine, with little backbone or structure.

While this maybe a Rhone-blend on paper, in style and taste it is surely not. The similarities start and end with the grape varieties used. The color seems a dull purple with slight brownish overtones while the nose jumps right at you with a giant wave liqourice and heavily cooked and sweet fruit aromas, predominatly straw- and raspberries. Unfortunately there is nothing else there, just the liqourice and the jam screaming at you like a kid with ADHS. And it doesn't get better in the mouth: this is mainly s-w-e-e-t. Sweet cooked and overripe berry fruit en masse, hints of spice on the back, no tannins, nearly no noteworthy acidity to keep things together and a slightly metallic aftertaste. The wines feels flabby, without structure, basically just a mass/mess of residial sugar and alcohol. Avoid unless you are more into AlcoPops than wine, in that case this just might suit your flavour profile....

Over the hill, but still drinkable. Kind of acidic first hit but settled down to drinkability over a couple nights.
