Shiny dark gold color. Apricot nose. Palate of dried fruits with lots of sweetness but enough acidity to keep the wine from being cloying. An excellent wine to serve wit cheesecake.

Very nice bottle of Malaga at the end of the meal. Great textural richness with being cloying. moderate alcohol and just enough acidity to keep it fresh. Nice complexity with full array of citrus aromas including orange rinds. Very easy drinking. Likely to hold on for a very long time, but I'm not convinced that it would change all that much.

Very dark amber. Beautiful nose of various dried fruits of all sorts. Incredibly full bodied and viscous. While almost syrupy in texture, the acid is present and the wine in no way seems have or leaden. In addition to the panoply of dried fruits, there is burnt orange peel and a bit of mint! Absolutely delicious with pate and pain grillé but would also be fantastic with sweeter desserts such as creme brûlée. Drink now-2028. 94

I love these Ordonez wines made from Moscatel de Alejandria. They're so unique from other dessert wines. This one had loads of turkish apricot, prunes, macerated pears and cinnamon baked apple. Thick and unctuous but with decent acidity. On this one though the residual sugar puts it a little out of balance.

Aromas of apple pie, apricot jam, caramel and wet stones. Full bodied, luscious and thick.
