Initially opened with an unpleasantly strong acidic flat astringent taste. Fearful that its best days were past. Small amount of sediment that remained stuck to the bottle side after pouring into decanter. Decanted for 90 minutes and the transformation was surprising - depth and layers of flavors ranging from chocolate to Blackberry with leather and tobacco hints which continued to evolve and change over the next 90 minutes. Long legs deep color - a very delicious fun enjoyable bottle of wine.

Decanted for about 30 mins, returned to the bottle and consumed over the next few hours. Overly acidic accompanied by edgy and clipped finish. wdconnolly's review nails it so I have nothing further to add.

Deep indigo color. Cassis, blackberry and black raspberry on the palate. Not terribly complex. Medium bodied, medium finish. Harsh and astringent upon opening but softened after a couple of hours. Not my favorite from Lede but other producers have said Diamond Mountain fruit is tricky.

Decanted 2 hours prior. Wow, what a disappointment based on my fellow reviewers. As a member of the wine club I received this wine and tried tonight for the first time. Nice nose, followed by disappointment.. Thin mouth feel and no finish.
