First thing, do yourself a favor, decant or pour and let this sit in your glass for awhile. If it’s too chilled or poured right out of the bottle you’re going to miss out on what’s going on here. Very restrained and nothing like suburban mom juice. No butter or oak here, but lots of fresh fruit (apple, pineapple, pear, lemon, take your pick) with lots of acidity and minerality on the finish. Is this worth the price of admission right now? Probably not, but if you know the producer than you know this is built for the long run. Drink a bottle now to establish a baseline, drink your others over the next 10 years to see this evolve and improve.

Probably the most balanced fresh hich octane Dogfish beer I’ve had in quite some time. Makes me wonder if aging will really improve this as there is no need to let the alcohol die down.
