- [ ] Bricking on the edges - [ ] Same beautiful nose - [ ] Maybe more tart than previously - [ ] Couscous in the glass, thick tears everywhere - [ ] Very fine tannins - [ ] Feel like it has more years - [ ] Beautiful light weight - [ ] Significant flavor intensity - [ ] Beautiful sour cherry. - [ ] Beautiful viscosity yet light on the palate - [ ] Finish is long very long yet balanced (instead of cloying)
I have been drinking this wine since 2012. At 13 years on, it continues to have that beautiful (if I may say) Burgundian nose, balance, finish, and delicious fruit that it had after its first year in bottle. This has been an amazing wine. Yes Oregon can produce Premier Cru+ level quality that persists for more than 10 years. IMHO.

3.5+/5 shared with Kurt and Karen for a Kurt stop by, beautiful (fine grain) tannins and perfect tannin level, fruit intensity at a lower level, a bit on the thin side mid palate, enjoyable fruit flavor. Definite buy again at this level. Surprisingly good Tempranillo for the U.S.

2018 Domaine de l'Espigouette (Bernard Latour) Côtes du Rhône Vieilles Vignes

Simply don’t like this wine, at any price. Jammy level fruit, no acid, no tannin. Unpleasant for my particular palate.
