This was great a year and a half ago. And still is. I tried many 04 SB's which have faded, but this one had not lost anything in 2 years. Did a Vertical of the 04-06, and this won. Best fruit concentration, most viscous of the 3 as well. A wonderful bouquet of citrus, peaches, fig, lemon-grass, and floral notes. Full-bodied and viscous and rich fruit on the palate consisting of citrus, goosenberry, passion fruit, lemongrass, melon and hints of papaya and herb. Well-balanced, elegant and has some finesse to it, with a very long clean finish. Perfect amount of acidity and ripeness of fruit. The only category the 06 wins over the 04 is the 06 to me has a tiny bit more complexity to it with more noticable herb and earth/stone tones.

A great California Sauvignon Blanc. This wine possesses tremendous aromas of white peach, tropical fruit, lemongrass, grapefruit and straw. Rich, plush and elegant in the mouth. Great balance of fruit (grapefruit, melon, white peach, meyer lemon and orange zes) and acidity. A very long clean finish. Good glass after glass.

This wine is light in color, with a slightly green/straw hue, but bordering on brilliant. Fresh tropical fruit on the nose with a bit of grass, lemon cream. Light bodied, but crisp and clean.

Pale yellow green color gives way to a nose of lemon grass and grapefruit. The body is dominated by an array of citrus fruits backed by refreshing acidic minerality. I think the Spectator hit this one correctly giving it 92.

Most engaging, enjoyable sauvignon blanc I've had-- and I drink sauv blanc in preference to chard. Subtly rich pale yellow-gold color, lively nose of very ripe peach and date; palate adds nectarine and lively, crisp acid suggesting spritz in the long finish.

Nice mouth feel, medium-bodied. Not as fruit forward as a younger SB.

Love this wine. Complex nose and flavors of stone fruits and lemon zest. Long finish. Best white of the summer?

Lemon and grass nose followed by grapefruit and hay palate. Long finish of bitter citrus peel.
