The sadist part of this tasting note is this was my last bottle. It has been a beautiful, superbly made wine since its release. Silky Tannins and full bodied, with a long finish of berries and spice with the fine underlying reach of the terrior this juice came from. Great Job!

A bit aciditic and hard when first opened, but after 30 minutes more integrated and smooth. After an hour, spectacular, with lots of nuance and a beautiful, full finish.

pop and pour; decanted and drank over an hour or so. Probably will give the next one about an hr or two decant. but, this one rich and jammy wine. High marks for delicious factor. Needs some time to flesh out secondary characteristics, but tastes so good now, why wait. First time with this winery. VN.

Spectacular -- rich and long finish, but really smooth and not over-the-top. Lots of dark berry and spice, and the tannins really round the wine out nicely.

Great aromas of dark fruit and earth. Changed and opened with time and air. Lots of dark plums and cherries with some earth and tar. The tannins became smoother over time. Hoopoe!

YUM! Big black and red fruits, fine grain supple tannis, well balanced. Not my favortie vintage, but this is drinking nicely with a good decant and should age! While not cheap, a very good value! Awesoem label also

Very good with aromas of dark red fruit and some cocoa. Very smooth on tasting with dark red cherries and some chocolate with silky tannins. Great for Friday night down the shore.

Incredibly impressive. Drunk on the same night as Tor Howell, which was great, and a Ladera Howell, also great. This was the best of the three. Perfectly balanced and smooth throughout - almost velvety on the tongue. Wonderful balance of fruit and tannins.

I was very impressed by the inaugural vintage (last year's release) of this wine and so I'm thrilled to see a pattern of quality emerging with this, the second, data point. This doesn't have the power and heft of the '05. It does have pitch perfect balance and a deep and linear complexity; it's a pure expression of a unique site and vintage. The nose is a swirling mix of cherry confiture, pomegranate and stewed plums with some cafe au lait notes. On the palate, the texture is velvety, and you can sense the tension harnessed in the tannins just before the finish. If this is "Date Night" that finish, dark chocolate and crushed stone, lasts until the next morning. I think this can compete with any of the cult stars from Napa. It's that good.

Lots of floral scents and light fruit smells, smooth and rich on first taste with a great, long finish. Wonderful.
