Better than the last bottle. We've had some variability on bottles of this vintage. This bottle came off very clean with nice notes of apple and pear. Very enjoyable. On a standalone basis, I would say this wine has some life left in it, but with the ups and downs we have experienced, we will finish off our last two bottles by the end of the year.

This bottle wasn't as good as previous of this vintage. Wasn't quite as crispand didn't have the same viscosity of a couple of the previous bottles we have had.

Light gold color, butterscotch, toast on the nose. Relatively high acidity, I could never shake off the wood to get to the fruit, but it was enjoyed by others...

Nicely balanced chardonnay. Pear on the nose. Lemon, cream and citrus on palate. A little bit of floral. Not oaky or a butter bomb like some Chards that go through malolactic fermentation.

This is a bit odd - the fruit was as forward and sweet as I can recall ever having in a Chardonnay. And it was quite tasty. Not too oaky/buttery (as some of these Carneros Chards can be). I think it would be a good choice to serve to non-wine-snobs who say they don't like Chardonnay. It's not at all acidic or sharp, but it doesn't swing into the oaky malolactic heaviness that can mark the other extreme. Well balanced. Just oddly a bit sweet.

Very Carneros in flavor profile. Plenty of oak, vanilla, lemon, and pear. Nice balance and mouthfeel, not overly rich but solid for $20. Exhibits a nice long mouth puckering finish.

I am generally not a california chardonnay fan, but this wine consistently delivers. Big round tropical flavors yet crisp at the same time. Not over malo, not over oaked, just right!

We always this the Dijon Clones is very good, although this vintage doesn't seem to be quite on par with the last two.

Trip to Napa Valley; 1/30/2011-1/31/2011 (Napa, CA): Really pretty nose with white flowers, toasted bread, and cream. On the palate, citrus fruits, yeast, very little oak, and no butter. Lovely.

Top notch chardonnay with spicy highlights to crisp apple and pear with a vanilla finish.
