This is a really fine wine. Lovely colour, light straw with just a tinge of green. Nose is ripe and intriguing with notes of apple and a little vanilla oak. On the palate this is steely and crisp with green apple, maybe a little lemon and a long fine finish with just a tinge of coconut. Second vintage of this wine and both have been excellent. This is great value as well.

Samples from Bill #7: Blind. Mineral/steely nose with smoky notes along with lime and yellow florals. Palate is rich and full but the fruit has depth with lovely texture to it. Impressive how it's drives into very good length even with the richness.

Well this is good! It's dry and a bit austere and pale in colour, but there's plenty of fruit, and cashews with a bit of oak on the palate, and a really long finish. This wine was very highly rated at release and I can see why. Masses of potential and it will improve from here.

Pale yellow colour. Dry aroma of pineapple, struck match, melon, peach. On the palate lemon, passion fruit, white peach, maybe some sherbet. Better on day 1, not as big on the fruit flavours on day 2. Medium plus body, long finish, fresh acidity. Definitely more fresh fruit then creamy. Really enjoyed it.

slight struck match, lemon, slight lime and green apple, sweet spice, slight sulphur, touch of grapefruit. Juicy, medium plus intensity acidity, chalky texture, lemon, citrus, touch of minerality. Nice in a more linear style.

Just as much struck match as I remember but less obviously citrus - less sharp and angular, rounded but without losing freshness. Long & rather yummy.

A wonderful, complex flavoursome Chardonnay. Medium weight. No pretence to be more than it is. Wonderful QPR.
