The beauty is still apparent, but I agree that the window is closing. Shows some age in the color in the glass. Some spice and red fruits on the nose. Palate of plum, cherry, cinnamon, black currant. Opens up nicely in depth, complexity, and mouthfeel in the second half of the bottle.

Probably time to drink this up. I still like it, very much. However, the fruit that seemed forward early on a few years ago.....it's still there in depth, but it's become a bit "one note". Wonderful aromatics on the nose, but the palate while resolved, has become a bit "one note" / linear. This is not a shy Pinot in terms of alcohol, and that seems to be more evident than it was the last time I popped this. Very enjoyable, but sadly, I think it's on its way out. One more bottle at offsite, and its time to bring that one back home!
90 pts. I like it a bit better than that, but concerned about the sense of alcohol creeping into this bottle 10 years after vintage.

Opens with a bit of Oregon funk on the nose which blows off quickly leaving a more perfumed aroma with a touch of meat. Quite lush in body without the cola sweetness. Very balanced. Long finish. No sharp edges. One of the better pinots I've had in awhile. Manages to be plush without pushing "over the top".

Very good right out of the bottle, with a somewhat subdued red fruit nose early, but starts to open up and become increasingly perfumed with time in the glass. The nose is a nice predictor for the palate, which is a mix of red fruits (cherry, raspberry) over an undercurrent of minerality and fine tannins. The finish is intoxicatingly long, seems to go on forever.
While already showing quite nicely, I suspect this will be a complete knockout in 3-5 years. One of the better Pinots I've had in a while.
