Young young young. Blackberry, blackcurrant, vanilla. Still so tightly wound. Complex. Great finish. Needs time. Personally I would wait another 5 years (min) before opening any bottles. 93 (today) has good upside.

Tried this at cellar door 1yr ago and bought half a D on the spot..
I'm not getting the same excitement I did then, dumb phase? I tried this over 3 days and the 3rd day was by far my favourite and I felt a higher 18°minimum serving temp was even better, but still for $90 dollars it wasn't wowing me.. There was a slight tart red fruit profile that diminished slightly over the 3 days but the fruit depth and complexity didn't excite me..
I'm leaving this for 5 years and hoping for the best..
Breathed for 3 hours. The smell was lovely. Blueberry, cedar with a hint of petrol. A hint of blackcurrant on the palate with burnt toast, vanilla and supple tannin's. Medium/full bodied with a yummy long finish that kept me coming back for more. I won't be opening my last one for at least another 10-15 years. This should be an absolute cracker of a wine by 2030.
Nose carries hints of black and blue fruits, cedar and some ethanol. Sweet plums and blackcurrant on the palate, along with tobacco, some aniseed, dried herbs, hints of rasberry and some vanilla. Plush, silky smooth and medium to full bodied. Fine mouth-coating tannins and a long and rewarding finish. Very young and tight at the moment. This won’t get anywhere near its prime for another 10 years. Drink from 2025.
Valentines with the SLDS - February 2018 Tasting: Dark fruits - violet, blackberry, ash and blackcurrant. Flavours are in the riper style but it has good focus and structure to stand up to the fruit power. Very good potential.

Appealing cool climate Bordeaux blend. More earthy and savoury than fruit forward.

Young but with plenty of air this is delicious. Will get even better with long term cellaring.

Did absolutely nothing for us.
Like that cheap noname wine that uncle Bertil always brings to the family dinners.
Too young.
