Tried this in a Vertical of the 04-06. This was the loser of the three. Just on the thin side and lacking the great concnetration the other 2 had, but still a very good SB. Nose of Peaches, Citrus, tropical fruit with floral notes. Medium-fullbodied. Palate of Peaches, passion fruit, lemongrass, apricot, papaya with a medium-long and clean finish.

Our favroite american SB, this vintage shows more stone fruits, less tropical and slightly less acidity than the 2004. Still very good, but liked '04 better.

Tasted at the winery. Nice nose of lychee and other tropical fruits. Clean citrus flavors on the palate, with some honey and gooseberry on the finish. A delicious sauvignon blanc made even better by the very attractive retail price (the winery price is $20). My one complaint is that it was served a bit too warm for my tastes; otherwise, it might have garnered a 91.

Very pale yellow-green leading to a nose of honeysuckle and citrus. The palate is dominated by tangy grapefruit and honeysuckle notes. This fininshes with good acidity. I may be underscoring this wine as this bottle was served slightly over chilled.

Consistently impressed with the Cliff Lede Sauvignon Blanc the last few years. Packed with aromas of lychee, wet stone and apricot. Rich mouthfeel. Flavors of peach, pear, lemon-lime, and a almost honey-like finish.
