Wine was very disjointed at first, but evened out an hour or so. Then it started to integrate pretty well with a smooth finish. Not a particularly memorable wine.

Notes from day 2. No rough edges. Very good but not great, somewhat generic red flavors. Strong QPR, would buy again. Doubt it will evolve further, drink up.

Opened for 30 minutes. No decant. Deep red with slightest umber around the edge. Aged red fruit, plum, bit of earth, tobacco, cocoa, light vanilla, all more prominent on palate than in nose, but still there. Opened up some during course of dinner, bringing a bit more depth, richness and length. Balanced and nice with meal. Enjoyable. Drinking very well, and not clear it will really develop more.

I really liked this wine. It is powerful, but still has a nice balance between red fruit and some earth notes. A little spice on the nose. Good fruit supported by cedar and pine. A medium finish that had a hint of sweetness as the tannins faded. A great wine for the price paid. 90+

Nice bottle and great value. Its difficult to find a wine with this level of character and balance for less than $40. Earth, coffee, dark fruit and loam. The fruit is present, yet restrained in a way that good WA producers achieve. The nose is a little shy, but the character is evident. Velvety texture with decent grip and a decent finish full of bitter chocolate. Delicious WA red. 7-17-8-8

Soft and succulent, with milk chocolate flavors balanced by a plummy acidity. The dominant flavor is the plush, cocoa-inflected merlot, with a bit of structure coming from the other varietals. Moderate finish.

Pretty good bottle. Upon opening, it was very fruit forward and a little flat. After a couple hours it gained weight and depth. Dark blue and black fruit ccame through with a an oaky undertone capped off by graphite and caramel notes.
A day later, some funk resides on the nose, supported by peppery red fruit. The palette is a little brighter and contains some Syrah qualities. A chewy texture leads into a lingering finish supported by coffe and loam.

A bright, translucent garnet in color. This is a dead ringer for the 2010 Columbia Crest H3 Les Chevaux on both the nose and palate. Subtle, though very pretty aromas of crushed berries, dried herbs and a hint of vanilla. Medium-to-full bodied and very round and soft on the palate, offering a generous mouthful of ripe blueberry and boysenberry fruit. Finishes very smooth and with good length. Elegant and polished, I would have rated this even higher if it had displayed a little more depth and focus on the mid-palate. 88+ 50+5+11+15+7=88

WMCCONE54 describes it well–earthy, spice, red berries. Quite different than bordeaux blends from any other region...there's something that I can't quite describe that is unique to WA wines (I've experienced it in others). I'd struggle to identify the varietals blind, but the region would be obvious. Young but its ready to drink now. A great Tuesday night dinner wine for sure.

Very young, so I decanted for 30 minutes to give it some air. Dark ruby, medium bodied displaying a fair amount of upfront herbal earthiness with plenty of tart, dark cherry and spicy, red berry flavors. Initially it displays a slightly oaky and noticeably tannic side; however, after some time it ended up being nicely balanced, fairly approachable, and comes with an outstanding QPR at less than $20. Nice everyday food wine.

Nice red blend consisting of 61% merlot, 14% cabernet sauvignon, 14% malbec, 11% petit verdot. Primary note of black cherry was complemented with hints of cocoa and subtle, sweet herbs. Overall, a very balanced, enjoyable wine that also featured a smooth mouthfeel and some zingy acidity.
