At 8 years this is drinking well. Typo city high with apple hints on nose and still freshness on palate. Thankfully little sign of wood here. Wnjoyment

Substantial character with age. Fun to drink. Gold color. Pinnaple, oak, lees, ripness (this is odd as 2011 was a cold year - Rattlesnake Hills must not have been). Butterscotch. If it had higher acidity I'd have scored it higher, but whatever.

This was quite nice, round and full without being fat. Tastes of lemon, butter and quince, but everything is nice and balanced. Reminds me of very good pouilly-fuissé. This is drinking at its prime now. No reason to wait.

Aromatic nose of lemon, orange, wax. Palate: very lush (without butter), hints of orange and lemon, vanilla. Med+ body with low acidity. Short finish. Should have at least another 1-2 years left. Great QPR! Thanks, Jon!

Lovely Chardonnay drinking right at or just past peak. Roasted almonds, butterscotch, and tropical fruit basked on the nose and into the palate, with some nice caramel and tart pineapple notes into the finish. Structure is fading so drink up. Good on its own but I thought it was better with food, in this case pineapple/bacon pizza.

Definitely towards the back end of it's peak but don't agree with the last couple of reviews that imply it's falling apart. A good new world chard in the Burgundian style. At $20, I'm not complaining.

Still tasty but with drying fruit and overshadowing notes of acetic acid. Past its prime. Another Garagiste bust (according to Rimmerman: "[his friend's wine] has at least another 2-3 years of ascension and life ahead"... should have listened to Wine Advocate's "Drink now-2016" assessment instead, which was mentioned passingly in the shyster's offer...). 13.5% ABV. 87+

Reasonably balanced and smooth Chardonnay. Clean with nice fruit. However, I don't think it has benefited from time. Seems a bit flabby and has lost its sharp precision. Not bad, but not up to its initial promise. Seems to be a wine that drinks best when young.

Totally bummed we don't have more of this. Probably one of the best chardonnays we've had in years. Really complex with a very smooth finish. Hints of citrus and butter, with a bit of spice as well. Very full in your mouth with awesome finish. Would easily rival some of the nice chards from Burgundy.

Light straw-gold. Deft oak treatment adds complexity while fruit and acidity are well-balanced. Burgundian in style, and should age well for several years. This producer is apparently committed to Burgundian-styled Chardonnays, and it shows. Well done.

Beautiful golden color. Loads of tropical fruit on the nose. Hints of oak add some depth to a bright acidic frame. Excellent example from a winery producing only Chardonnay. Highly recommended.

Had over three nights, really nice aged Chardonnay, with the oak fully integrated. And held up nicely. Very Burgundian.

Would be 89 points easily if not for the (13.5% alcohol??) heat.
