Popped and poured. Pale greenish gold. Spicy oak, alcohol, lessor grapefruit. Supple mouthfeel, sweet citrus, squeeze of lime, apple, mild acidity mid-palate freshens, citrus tang, white peach to the long zesty finish.
Two hours open, more power, more fruit no alcohol, upgrade from 93.

30 minute decant. Pale gold in colour. More fragrant nose than the standard bottling. Peach, bread, funk & lime. Medium mouthfeel, sweet citrus including lemon/ limes, medium oak, straight thru to the mid palate and the dry, crisp, clean, acidic finish. More punch than the standard fare. Would sit this behind the Pierro, and pipped by Savaterre, only due to my preference of the oak treatment; this lies towards Leeuwin Art Series, these days I'm heading for the Chablis side of the fence.

Aromas jump from the glass. Lemon, perfume, white flowers. The palate is restrained. There is oak there, but it's very well behaved! There's lemon curd, honey, florals, a mineral drive as well. So well balanced. It's a terrific wine, and with time could even have an up side. Drinking well now, but no rush at all here.

Delicious mix of pear, citrus, honey and mineral flavours. Starts off a bit flinty as well. Lovely texture.

Flint and struck match on opening. Reveals citrus and spicy pear, almond meal. Lovely mouth feel, with intensity, spice and phenolic all in harmony.

Seemed a little oak dominant today. Maybe served too cold?

I just don't get this wine. Some flint on opening, but no subsequent balance. Just acid and sour fruit.

Stuck match on opening. Then lemon, honey, oak spices, stone fruits, pebbles. Lovely rich mouthfeel with a long, gently spicy finish.

This is very restrained and needs more time (or a longer decant), but it is undeniably lovely.
