Sunday, January 20, 2013 - My last bottle of the '08, still showing strong fruit with black cherry and an earthy/gamey hint on nose. On entrance, the black fruit flavors are forward but not overbearing, with some licorice and spice surfacing mid-palate. Acidity keeps the middle lively with enough tannins to give it real structure that was still holding up. As with my earlier notes, it remains an elegant example of a structured yet supple Oregon Pinot Noir. Drink 2012-2015.
