On entrance, the black fruit flavors are forward with noticeable black cherry and plum. Also some notes of licorice and spice in the mid-palate. Medium body and moderate tannins give it real structure that holds up to more than an hour in the glass (as if you can keep from drinking it that long!) and gives a long and enjoyable finish. An elegant and brilliant example of a structured yet restrained Pinot Noir. Drink 2012-2016.
