Monday, January 16, 2017 - Another great Mollydooker Aussie offering. This was 69% Shiraz, 16% Cab, 15% Merlot. This was a little smoother than some of their wines which are typically on the robust side, but this is 5 years old and had a little Merlot in it. Great, great Shiraz-dominated taste, mouth filling and elegant. Wine was inky as you would expect. The alcohol was 16%, but surprisingly it was well-integrated and not "hot". I would drink this now, if you find more recent vintages, I would think they would be approachable with aerating and decanting.
We recommend practically all the wines these folks make.,
