Friday, September 3, 2010 - Very good wine. Deep red, nose more restrained than on release, elegant and showing dark fruits, plums, and liqorice. Smooth palate with dark fruit and spicy jalapeno and liqorice again. The wine is showing a lot of cab franc character - check the label, yep, 36% cab franc. med-long finish. Went great with the soy & ginger flank steak.
