Initially the nose was a big brooding mixture of black truffle, caramel, currant and anise. After a while the nose was lighter currant and oaky with a little bit of pepper. Taste at first was black cherry, tobacco, forest floor and licorice nicely balanced. Later I was getting more violet and less earthiness to it. So it evolved a lot over two hours. My question really comes down to should I drink my other bottle soon or hold onto it. All in all, quite a nice bottle of wine.
