Monday, December 7, 2009 - Opened for a home grilled T-bone. Ran thru Vinturi. Dense garnet. Dark cherry with big chocolate nose. Notes of soft leather, roses, and caramelized ... well I don't know what, but caramelized something. Full bodied, plush black cherry and black raspberry. Some nice St. Emilion character. This is my first Spring Valley Vineyard wine and I am feeling the love. Great stuff.
