Tuesday, September 1, 2009 - This wine is outstanding. I never had this before and did not know if I should open it up and give it a try... or let it sit a year or 2. I decided to give it a go and was I happy I did. This wine was great from the moment it hit the glass. This is packed with fruit, balanced with perfect acidity and tannins making for a enjoyable long finish. The alcohol content may be a little high at this point but that did not detract me. This wine has a wonderful bouquet and flavors of cherries and vanilla. It has a huge mouth feel. It is concentrated and lush without being overbearing. This is a wine that compares to wines that are 2 to 3 times the price. I will buy more.
