Saturday, May 4, 2024 - Kick-off bottle for the 2024 Dia Internacional da Baga was Filipa Pato’s DNMC aka Dinâmica (v22, 12% ABV) - a very fine entry-level introduction to this grape w grape-specific expressions & the purity & ethereal vibe always at forefront chez Filipa. Beautiful medium ruby, cherry reflections, fully translucent in the glass. Open, intensive nose featuring deep & pure scents of cherries, raspberries, strawberries, black pepper & various dried herbs. Light-bodied, balsamic structure, glou-glou-stylad, fine mature fruit, decent, grippy finish!
