Popped and poured to celebrate Englands surprise victory over Ireland. Deep crunchy fruit. Very 2010. Developed over time with great depth of fruit with some secondary notes. In a good place with time to go.

Nose a little mute but fireworks on palate. Great balance of sweet fruit and acidity. So fresh with great drive. Still young but irresistible

Colour still rich and deep. Ripe and luscious but plenty of matter. Still with a twist of tannin on the finish. Classy maybe a little glossy but lovely balance and good with and without food. Ready now but at least 5 years to go.

Rich and brawny to start. Fruit powerful as are tannins. After a clumsy start sorted itself out and was excellent with food. Much more balanced over time and started to show some class

Fabulous exciting wine. Nose took a little coaxing early on but soon expanded into pure Pinot. Still young the intensity of crunchy red fruit was a good surprise. Long finish. Drinking well now but time ahead.

Decanted two hours. Immediate crunchy Syrah nose. Côte Rotie style. Good balance. became more fruit driven with time. Tannins still present but certainly ready. Very good

What a transformation since my last bottle. The awkward spiky elements have gone. The parts have come together and the wine has the fragrance and grace of Barbaresvo on the nose. The palate is clear with clean fruit and harmony. Delicious

From Mag. Decanted 5 hours. Deep colour still some purple. Classic complex cedar tobacco ripe intense fruit. Spectacular on palate. Fanned out with black fruits and minerals all contained by fine grained tannins. Long long finish. Glorious.

Still deep coloured. Very little aging. Vigorous fruit on nose with depth, garrigue, damsons some leather. Power but all enveloping balanced fruit on palate. Wonderful mouthfeel. Long with gentle tannins on the finish. Perfect with slow cooked lamb. Brilliant wine. First from case bought on release. Just shows how long Tempier needs.
