Lots of soft cherries with good secondaries, beautiful nose, and in a great place tonight. Went well with homemade roasted veggie pasta sauce. Need to buy more of these aged Barillas to restock my celler. Still rocking on night two with it only being recorked. |

Little angular and punchy on first pour. Several hours later settled down nicely. Lots of earth on the nose still bright fruit and fresh acidity on palate. Good complexity on taste. good with food. Tannins still notable. Much more refined on night too, still very much alive. A joy to drink. Plenty of life left in it. |

Still dark in the glass with no evidence of bricking. Is there such a thing as a reserved flavor profile for a Isosceles? More secondary flavors on this. Still some fruit but savory notes were noted throughout. Nice mouth feel with refined tannins that did not obstructing. Pared well with the bar style food. I guess there’s a reason why people drink these younger for the big fruit but still enjoyable tonight. |

Great mouth feel and went well with marinated grilled tri-tip. A pleasure and a great reminder of a trip to Bordeaux several years ago. |
