4/30/2024 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 94 pointsAmazing. Reminds me of some of the great Burgundy wines I had while living in France. Beautiful bouquet of roses and strawberry. Crystal clear ruby color. Very complex palate, super smooth, well balanced. Love the red currant, raspberry, pomegranate, spice, mineral notes. And the long sexy, elegant finish. Bravo. |

4/7/2024 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 95 pointsA classic! So rich, elegant, fresh, and lots of depth. The old vine Grenache really stands out here. Expressive floral and wild berry nose. Dense, creamy palate with so many wonderful layers of flavor: cassis, blackberry, plum, mineral, herb and spice. Great balance, well integrated tannins. Super long, smooth and persistent finish. A truly spectacular wine to drink now or to continue cellaring for many more years. :) |

4/1/2024 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 96 pointsBeauty & the Beast rolled into one wine. Elegant, smooth, luscious yet bursting at the seams with complexity and flavor. Full bodied, with a smokey, violet and blueberry bouquet. Ever changing palate of dark cherry, plum, blackberry, olive, soy, graphite, meat juice, licorice, black tea, menthol, herbs and more. Super long finish. How does he do it? Perfect now and should be for at least another 5-8 years. Bravo. |

3/3/2024 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 95 pointsBold, beautiful and mature CDP. Quite different than our 1st bottle in 2020. Tannins are fully resolved, many secondary characteristics have emerged, and bricking on the edges. Very complex. A smokey, fruity, licorice bouquet. Plum, dark berries, leather, spice, pencil shavings, camphor, herb and meat juices on the super smooth palate. Long finish. Just a touch of heat on the backend, but not distracting. We have one more destined for consumption no later than 2027. 94-95 pts |

2/17/2024 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 92 pointsSolid CDP. Full bodied, tannins well integrated, quite complex with lots of herbs, dark berry, licorice, spice, pencil shavings. A touch high on the alcohol, but it's not too intruding. Drink now. |

2/14/2024 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 93 pointsDelightful. Heavy bodied pinot, but still elegant, smooth. Nice mix of tart cherry, pomegranate, and cinnamon. Good acidity, well integrated tannins. Great now but has at least a handful of year left. |

1/29/2024 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 92 pointsExcellent and a great QPR. First of 4 bottles. These are ready and drinking perfectly. Should continue drinking well for about 10 years. Med-Full body. Well balanced. Only 13.5% alcohol. Nice and Dry. Mineral and earthy, plus the Merlot adds dimension and plenty of fruit. Just enough tannin to handle a nice tenderloin steak. :) |

1/28/2024 - wine4ever Likes this wine: NRFrom our cellar. Decanted for sediment and drank over three hours. Big wine, full bodied, dark fruits, meat juices, spices, herbs. Can tell it's from a hot year, but the intensity of the flavors helps mask the higher alcohol level. Have one more, will try it again in a couple years, hoping for some more tertiary flavors to develop. |

1/20/2024 - wine4ever wrote: 93 pointsExcellent. Definitely in its mature phase and a beautiful textbook Washington cab. Dark maroon in color and slightly cloudy. Nice plumy-earthy bouquet. Super smooth, medium bodied. Still lovely dark fruits (dark cherry, plum, cassis, blackberry) there. Spices, mineral, herb, and licorice are starting to become more dominate. Long, addictive finish. In a great place. I think it still has potential to last another 5-10 years, maybe longer, but the fruit component is starting to fade. |

12/23/2023 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 92 pointsExcellent. Our Christmas dinner wine. Served with Prime Rib roast. Decanted and drank over 3 hours. Nose a bit subdued upon opening. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel, well balanced. Palate was subdued initially as well mainly showing blackberry and mineral....but after about an hour and some swirling, prune and fig flavors emerged as well (a product of a warm year?). The Tannins are mostly resolved, medium finish. A lovely wine and we enjoyed it, just wished it had opened up more and had a tad more 'freshness' and complexity. I doubt it will improve with any more aging, but it shouldn't fall off a cliff either. Drink now with an hour decant or continue to hold for the short term. |

12/17/2023 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 91 pointsExcellent wine purchased at a great price. Nice mix of cab sauv, cab franc, and merlot which gives it complexity. Full bodied, but very smooth, with a floral nose, and lots of dark berries, spice, mineral. Very fresh tasting and well balanced. Drink now or continue to hold. |

12/14/2023 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 92 pointsPicked up at Costco. Great wine for the price. Medium-Light, but packed with lots of red fruit (strawberry, raspberries), some cherry, spice, mineral and a little earthiness. Super smooth. An especially nice vintage of this wine. |

12/8/2023 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 95 pointsOne of the most interesting older Aussie wines I've had. Decanted for sediment. Huge Nose - eucalyptus and dark fruit. Big, bold wine. Initially taste before airing had a flavor of "cough syrup" but after a couple hours of air that was gone. Super smooth. Very complex wine that kept changing over time. Lots of eucalyptus, mint, black cherry, chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, pepper. Honestly kept getting better. Had a few ounces left over the next day and it was still singing. Who would have ever guessed these wines would have aged so well. Drink now or continue to hold. Just Amazing. |

12/1/2023 - wine4ever Likes this wine: 94 pointsFabulous. Our 3rd of 4. Decanted and drank over 3 hours. A classic CDP. Gorgeous funky complex bouquet. Super smooth palate. Dark fruits, truffle, leather, bacon fat, spices, mushroom and a lovely long finish. The wine has definitely entered its mature phase. I love how this wine has evolved over the years - it's always different and always a treat. |
