Excellent wine purchased at a great price. Nice mix of cab sauv, cab franc, and merlot which gives it complexity. Full bodied, but very smooth, with a floral nose, and lots of dark berries, spice, mineral. Very fresh tasting and well balanced. Drink now or continue to hold.

14% alcohol; Misa Imports, Inc, Dallas, Texas; a blend of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 'mis en bouteille au domaine'; 5 cm real cork with max 7 mm wine penetration; medium weight foil; fast legs, dark red/purple; vinturied and tasted 20 minutes later at approximately 17 degrees C; the cork has its own aroma -- primarily, sour cherries; the wine's nose is alcohol, raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries, citrus, rye bread flour; full bodied, notes of dark-cherry cough drops and an otherwise woodsy dry cherry cum berry taste, with an admixture of minerals, earth & forest floor; the balance of flavors points to tannins in the lead, followed by sourness, fruitiness, and bitterness, in that order; the tannins and fruit continue their conversation into the medium finish; the wine would pair well with a thick filet mignon, prepared (medium) rare over a charcoal or gas grill, with supplementary pecan wood smoke
