    Grassy grapefruit aromas with a little bell-pepper. Full fruit citrus fruit on the palate with peppery spice and hints of sweetness. Sharp acid and lingering finish.

  • 2009 Alta Maria Chardonnay Reserva 90 Points

    USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Maria Valley

    Oak influence on the nose- lots of caramel and vanilla along with slate and lemon zest. Nice bright fruit on the palate complimenting secondary mineral and oak. Round and rich with a full finish.

    Briary brambly cherry and plum notes with spice. Rich and bright on the palate with full fruit and wild spice notes. Fine tannins and sharp acid along a medium finish.

  • 2007 Alta Maria Cabernet Sauvignon 90 Points

    Lots of cherry, red currant on the vanilla on the nose, adding spice, minerality and black pepper on the palate. Nicely layered with polished grainy tannins and a full finish. Drinking nicely.

    Notes of fig paste, forest floor, mushroom and spice. Dense and chewy black cherry and raspberry notes of the palate with more earth and spice. Finely layered and polished. Balanced and integrated structure and a full finish. Very nice.

    Deep black garnet color. Black cherry, Christmas spice and pine forest notes start this off. The palate brings rich full fruit with peppery spice and notes of cocoa and tea. Round peppery tannins and a big finish. A crowd pleaser.
