7/9/2021 7:21:00 AM - Great Willamette Trip! Now that your back and can reflect, what where the top 5 or so most memorable wines?

10/4/2017 9:28:00 AM - Thanks for your feedback. I've adjusted my rating to 88 to fit the standard scale. I apologize for the confusion and will make sure to decant my next bottle properly. JDV

10/28/2015 6:00:00 AM - The 2005 Château d'Issan is ready now. Yes it will get better, but hard to say how much better. Never regret drinking a fine wine that is ready. There are always others laying in the cellar getting better.

8/26/2013 8:54:00 PM - Look out for the 2011 SRH Pinots- great vintage for Pinot Noir purists... really elegant and beautiful wines.

8/24/2013 7:37:00 AM - I think your tasting notes on the wines of Santa Rita Hills are terrific as most of those wines have not been seen by me.

8/18/2013 7:17:00 PM - Thank you for becoming a fan of mine. I have tasted at DRC and only drank 6 vintages of La Tache. personally I prefer Vogue Musigny or Bonne Mares. it would be interesting to know with a 104 bottles in your cellar what you have, your tasting notes are way ahead of my hunt and peck method. I toast you with a glass of my 1996 Martinelli Jackass Zinfandel.
