2016 Luigi Bosca Malbec D.O.C. Single Vineyard

Dark garnet red color. PNP, drank a glass with dinner on Mother's Day. Sweet, ripe fruit nose, a touch of damp earth, ripe some heat on the back end, vanilla, a little green edge, black cherry, cassis, tart, pepper. Does not seem to hold up well over time.

Pale gold color. PNP, drank a glass over 45 minutes. The nose is showing more citrus peel, apple and powdery dried apple, and plenty of dried stones. The palate is refeshing and shows good cut and brisk mineral notes, lime extract, spice, citrus, pear and apple on a medium bodied frame. Still soe oak to fully work in, but not overbearing. 91+ to 92pts.

Pale gold color. Drank a glass plus over an hour. In the zone. Green apple, crisp cut pear, brisk fine bead, tons of minerality and refined chalk, yeasty with some apple peel, and clean and refined finish.
