Have to agree with the previous tasting note from Jan 2013 Now two and a half years later still plenty of blackcurrent on the nose although on the palate fair amount of tannins producing mouth puckering Good finish , hopefully a few more years will mellow the tannins colour inky , slight bricking on the edges , lost points on the palate for me C 15/15 N 24/30 P 35/44 O 9/11

The 2005 release is a concentrated example of Coonawarra Cabernet with dense blackberry fruit on the nose that is about as true to variety as one can get.
The wine has a great mouth feel with depth of blackberry and plum that is complemented by spiced vanillin oak that accentuates the wines length to finish.
This wine is right in its drinking window, and will be so for a few years to come. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink from 2013-2018)

Needed time to breathe, good once it started opening up, still quite subtle
