  Eucalyptus, earth, and dark fruit on the nose, lower acid than I would have expected, chewy tannins and a long finish. Rounded and somewhat feminine-more like a St Joseph than a Cote Rotie.

  A lovely wine. Soft and smooth on the front palate - big in the middle and a nice slow long finish. Drink now as I don't think it is going to get any better.

  Ruby hue; earthy, dark berry nose; dry, balanced, nicely-structured; not too overly sweet to tart; nice wine
