Notes: The 2007 vintage is well known for its early accessibility and it is quite certain that this wine is ready to be consumed upon opening. Although a 30-40 minutes breathing time makes this more attractive it is fair to say that this 2007 is in the pop and pour category. It has a great and pure nose and is a pretty good demonstration of the Les Suchots terrior in my opinion. Beautiful wine in all aspects, with such elegance and well defined aroma this should be close to the ceiling of a 1er cru. Nevertheless, one can still conclude that although this premier cru is excellent yet we feel something is missing from it. Although this may be perfection for a Les Suchots but I would say it still lacks the substance of a top tier Grand Cru. I could not foresee too much improvement with more cellaring and it's time to drink up now.

  • A little shy on the nose, but pure sensuality on the palate. Soft, voluptuous, plush like velvet. Sexy time in the mouth. Can I have another?

  • My third vintage of the Suchots, previously the 2006 and the 2011.
The weakest of the three, yet a very good pinot, with pure, lush fruit. Ready to drink.

  • Forward aroma of candy, floral and red fruit. Balanced palate resulted in an enjoyable finish for the vintage. An easy to understand wine. 91

  • Last of 3, pnp, perfect cork and level, previous notes fine or better, deepish, slightly mat red, little development; classy bouquet, red fruit driven (slightly sour cherry), nice touch of spice and meat with hint of iron; surprisingly round and harmonious, almost silky, long and persistent, always a nicely balanced wine, this bottle has more weight to fruit and energy, lovely now but should last well for an '07.
