NOSE: expressive aromatics, led by honey and kumquat; also a bit estery/grainy.
BODY: medium gold color; medium-full to full bodied.
TASTE: strong tangerine note, with pleasant powdery/floral spice; medium to medium+ acidity; 7.5% alc hidden; proper Spatlese. Drinking very well right now.

Deep yellow. Some petrol and a burst of fresh cut Golden Delicious apple. Fairly hefty for a Mosel Spatlese and moderately sweet. Vivid spiced apple and peach, moderate acidity, and little minerality. A rich wine of pleasure rather than tension that is packed with fruit.

Light yellow. Rich fruit and a dash of honey. Slate, stone fruit, off dry. Just exquisitely balanced with the perfect dose of acidity. Entering maturity.

Pale straw, honey, Lychee, melon and a hint of baked lemon; smooth and medium to light weight, some oriental spice and more honey/melon, alas a tad short and acidity wise - it could be lifted a bit more. Very clean, no petrol.

(Fritz Haag Brauneberger Juffer Spatlese) Very slatey, mineral nose with a huge swath of blueberry aromas. The palate is one of almost painful intensity it is so concentrated yet remains juicy and vibrant at the same time. It snakes across your palate. The elegance here cannot be denied.

Medium yellow. Similar impression as earlier this year-sweet, open, ripe yellow peach and spice, but loose and missing some tension and zip.
