This was fantastic. About 10 minutes in the glass then drank over about 90 minutes. Red cherry with a hit of raspberries on its Bueatiful nose. Pallet of sweet red fruit, a touch of almond and maybe licorice. Smooth, great mouthfeel and long finish. Wish I had bought a few more bottles. Everyone loved this. Might be the nicest burgundy i have had. Has aged well and is solidly in its prime drinking window. Absolutely loved this!

Beautiful, elegant wine. Preopened 1 hour. At first a bit locked. Then soared fully resolved tannins, balanced dark fruit. , peaking about 90 minutes after open then came down as fruit faded . Wonderful.

I thought this was simply magnificent. Clear dark crimson in the glass. Crazy nose of red fruit and rose petals that gained some aromas of blood and meat with prolonged air. Awesome dancing flavors of red and black cherries, Gevrey earth, integrated wood, and subtle gamey notes with time on the palate. Long with no sense of finishing dryness. Great mouthfeel and balance. Just a touch of backend heat and alcohol which will likely dissipate with cellaring. This certainly put on substantial weight over 2-3 hours. I have an empty glass in front of me, and this is one of those wines where you keep going back to that glass just to inhale what epitomizes Gevrey.

We decanted it, and it needed it. Helped it show more character. As others said here, very good, but not great.
