Markedly dry, quenching, toasty-chalky. So dry I almost felt like I could not find the fruit,...and yet, a compelling glass. 0g/L dosage; 100% Chard
Kind of an outlier of a blanc de blanc, so your mileage may vary, but I liked it a lot. Having sampled 3 different 0 dosage Marguets this weekend [Avise BdB, Ambonnay (63% Pinot noir/37% Chard), and Shaman 20 (81% Pinot Noir, 19% Chardonnay)] my impression of the house style is of a marked chalkiness/dryness along with whatever generosity of fruit the blend brings.
