Im Gaumen gradlinig, sehr balanciert, der Wein zeigt eine ausgezeichnete Tanninqualität, da ist Volumen mit im Spiel, doch keine Schwerfälligkeit, herrliche Balance. En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Three (Bordeaux): Plum, sweet spice, a little liquorice, blackcurrant, very slight violet. Juicy, fleshy, initial fruit sweetness then quite right with liquorice, plums, tight tannic grip is slightly woody though persistent, drying…the fruit carries helped by a little alcohol prickle. Rich, corpulent, generous, syrupy.
Lot of extraction. Baking spices.
Almost new-wordly. A lot of flavor and roundness.
You can really feel the heat of the vintage in this wine.
The result is very well balanced nonetheless.
