The back label says the blend is 67% SB and 33% Semillon, but my bottle tasted a lot more Semillon-centric. Medium-light greenish yellow color. The nose is mildly tropical, consisting of ripe nectarine, Japanese Hassaku Citrus, green banana, papaya, and a touch of quince - the balance shifts every second. I like its purity and the lack of oakiness (although it seems the oak was utilized). In the mouth, mild attack is followed by thick viscosity, with acidity that grows in sync with the waxy richness . There is some “grainy” popping citrus pulp texture that makes it interesting and refreshingly juicy. The finish is honeyed with some pleasant alcohol bitterness/warmth (13.9% abv). Utterly delicious, but I found myself at odds again in giving 90-91 points rather than 93-94 points, which feels to me fair in comparison with its old-world equivalents (tastes like a hybrid between a polished Bordeaux Blanc and a big decent Southern Italy). Got more tropical (passion fruit and unripe mango) and oaky on day 2, but overall assessment did not change.

Day 1: Again amazing. Grass, lemon zest, orange peel, stone, floral and spices. This wine is super complex and medium plus finish. An outstanding effort that can't be found many places in the world for this price. 93 points Day 2: Stone orchard fruit, grass, lemon, orange peel, spice, floral and stone. Beautiful on day 2. 94 points
Well, this bottle was fantastic. Although missing a few ounces from the night before, it showed layers of nuance before our meal, and during it. Most enjoyable.

Day 1: This is my favorite white wine from Washington and one of the greatest values in white wines in the world. Honey, floral, spices, lemon, kiwi and grass. This is an amazing wine and for under $25 with tax off the charts value. 94 points Day 2: Beautiful wine with kiwi, honey, spices, grass, minerals, spice, sour apple and white flowers. Medium plus finish and nice acidity. 94 points Recommendation: Easy buy.

Day 1: Solid again. Beautiful wine and drinking well now but will age. Floral, orange rind, spice, minerals, lemon, dust and flint. Medium finish and nice acidity. 93 points Day 2: Holding form and just a great expression of how good Washington whites can be. Flint, lemon, orange rind, minerals, lime, grapefruit and floral notes. Medium plus finish and nice acidity. 94 points Recommendation: A great value but even better in the Twin Cities at under $25 with tax.

(DeLille Cellars Chaleur Estate Blanc) Light medium lemon yellow color; lemon gelee, lime, guava, lemon grass nose; tasty, tart lemon, lime, guava, white grapefruit palate with appetizing near medium acidity; medium-plus finish (pricey but excellent, like a very flavorful, full bodied white Bordeaux; 67% Sauvignon Blanc, 33% Semillon; 13.9% alcohol; natural cork)
