A gorgeous nose of rose petals and Indian spice. The palate is still bright and lively, with a suggestion of briary fruits at its core. There's a touch of leather and really good detail. Tannins are relaxed and there's minerally acidity underpinning all of the flavours. Beautifully balanced and in a really nice place.

Stood up for 5 weeks. Decanted off fine sediment for 2h then back into bottle. Light brick red, almost tea color. Prior to putting back into bottle, lovely elegant, dried cherries, herbs, a bit of caramel, minerals w dainr tannins. Now, 4h after decant, wine is corked. Such a bummer as there is such lovely fruit and elegance that's marred by the wet cardboard

Still fresh, yet brown edges and very cloudy. Cherry fruit and leather on the nose. Low acidity, but not flabby. Everywhere I've searched has stated 1967 was not a great year for wine yet this bottle has survived to still give pleasure decades after it should've gone bad. Much better than expected.
PnP with no score given as this was enjoyed from a pure pleasure standpoint as a birth year wine.

Knights of Alba (KOA) BYO Barbaresco Dinner (Legacy Records): Well aged with leather and a slight bit of fruit but still this general impression that there is life left in this bottle. Very classic old Nebbiolo.
