A nice fruity expression of riesling with a striking mineral edge. The wine developed a creamy texture with time. Overall an enjoyable wine; but If you're expecting the heavens to part because of the label, you will be let down regardless of quality.

Creamy and very mineral nose, some flowers and petrol. Phenolic bite with a lot of structure on the palate, some signs of maceration, a fun experience, great with food.

Boring and hollow. Probably closed, but usually the potential is noticeable. Nothing of the sorts here. Hollow and frankly not a lot of extract. Feels like the grape material used is not up to par with normal Julian Haart standards. Quite possibly why it was sold off to a 'Wineporn' Cuvee.

As Jürgen from Weinhaus Porn says, Keller fanboy as he is:' The 2019 Julian Haart is fantastic because it is fermented with the skins. Just like Keller.' Needs 5+ years ideally, for the sweetness and phenolic bitterness to integrate.

A slight nose, perhaps closed, some yellow plum, reflected on the palate too, subtle creamy texture but a firmer spike of acidity on the finish. This wine varies a little from year to year, this seems a drier version. 11.5% AP 05.
