  • 很开放,扑鼻香气很像Felton Road Bannockburn,也是红黑果混合,加香料(桂皮?)气息,有茶感。醒酒2小时后迸发出更多红果,糖渍樱桃。果味充足,酸度不强但足够,单宁细腻,整体平衡得不错。回味没有太不愉悦的苦感(植物根的苦感还是有),长度中等。整体来说粗狂了点,缺乏点精巧,以300块市场价来说是值得的。

  • Really nice. I didn’t get all the complexity that @caspernick notes, but otherwise I think their review is pretty accurate. It has that lovely earthy, mushroomy pinot funk that I love and crave. I would say moderate complexity, definitely high acid, moderate alcohol (I think it’s 13.5), and good structure. Drinking very well now, but could age for a few more years.

  • Pale ruby with perhaps a touch of garnet. The nose has got just what I looking for- pronounced aromas of earth, forest floor, red cherry, baking spice, black currant leaf, red plum, clove- very complex, almost Burgundian. On the palate it is stunning- dry with very juicy acidity and medium tannins this wine has an upfront push of sour cherry followed by the earthy, forest floor component alongside other red fruits. Baking spice hits on the mid palate and I get oak nuance from the get go. This is quite full bodied and rich with flavor that finishes nicely with a sour note from cherries and cranberry. The overall length of the finish is medium. The balance of this wine is en pointe and the composure makes me want to keep sipping. This $45 Pinot Noir got some pretty monster scores- I have to agree and go with 93 points. I will be drinking the other three bottles over a 5 year period and watching the evolution. Pairings could consist of Duck l'Orange, Filet Mignon with Au Gratin or even Grilled white meats. 5 stars for this beauty.

  • Deep garnet color. Nice nose of red berries, bright red cherries, primary notes. Bright acidity, great structure overall with balanced tannins, some oak notes, raspberries, a hint of wild herbs and nutmeg. A deep, flavorful Pinot noir that gets the best out of Otago.

  • 醒酒半小时,淡宝石红的酒体,闻香是樱桃,果梗和蘑菇的香气,白胡椒一类的辛香料味,和橡木桶带来的奶油味,入口酸度中高,单宁颗粒细腻,咸咸的酒液,一些矿物感,收口很甜美,口感顺滑,樱桃,草莓一类的红色水果香气点缀一些果梗气息,收尾有些辛辣感和清凉感,酒的结构不大,酒体不重重,胜在强大而持久的余味,新鲜红果,玫瑰花瓣的香气,泥土,柔和木质气息和淡淡香草味,非常优雅。超越一般中奥塔哥的精致,带着一点勃艮第的质朴,又保持了新西兰一贯的纯净口感,是Valli几个园子里喝下来最平衡,最细腻的。随着醒酒时间的增长,风格更加甜美,偏向新世界,辛辣感和矿物感会更明显一些,可能因为天热加上酒比较新的关系,口中状态感觉有些下降,余味依然强大。
