First time trying this producer and absolutely loved this. Best American chardonnay I’ve had in a long time. The color is medium/deep amber yellow, bordering on resembling light honey. The palate is wonderful: definitive notes of roasted nuts, lemon peel, and burnt embers offering up a wonderful complexity that is framed by some nice (presumably American) oak. Acidity is medium, right around where you wanted it to be. This was eminently drinkable but I think will age nicely for definitely 5, if not 10 years. I’m admittedly biased because I really prefer the Burgundian style and 00 definitely delivers that here. Nice length with great balanced. Buying more.

Next to VGW. Notably brighter with very good Coche-like reduction on the nose. Sweet on the palate but acceptable, longer finish, more concentration. 92-93

This is developing nicely. Lemon, orchard fruits, orchard blossom, a hint of almond paste. Lovely richness and a long finish. Good stuff.

A very nice Oregon chard. I don’t like the wax cap; makes it hard to Coravin. So we had to drink the whole thing.

Medium+ nose intensity with notes of green apple, lemon, oily. High acidity and long finish.
