  Vietti Rocche Vertical: PnP at the beginning of the night. This is my first time experiencing this producer. This is one of the deeper Langhes I've ever had before. It took ~1 hour for the tannins to mellow out. There were aromas of mushrooms, wet moss, and green peppers. The palate had layers of violet and somewhat greener fruits. I was hoping this would be brighter. Overall, it was a very enjoyable Langhe to kick off our tasting, but there are many other better Langhes at a much more approachable price point. 92-93.
