Popped yesterday, notes from 24 hrs open in fridge overnight. Ok, five years seems like an excellent length of time for this wine. On the nose: mushroomy Cameron funk, black raspberry, wild strawberry..definitely darker in style, a hint of sandalwood and asian spice, but so enveloping. On the palate: definitely ripe in style with blackberry, fantastic acidity and density..very soft tannin and a touch of mint on the finish. For my palate, this is bar none the best ~$20 btl of US PN there is...

Holy cow. Opened yesterday, notes from over 24 hrs open. So much better than my last btl: everything has fallen into place. On the nose: soft mushroomy funk, black cherry, wild strawberry, spice, soft leather. On the palate: fantastic acidity, wild strawberry, cinnamon spice, good density, very hi-toned, and soft, very finely-grained tannin on the finish. Yum.

Dusty red fruit on the nose, ripe red fruit in the mouth moving smoothly and at just the right cadence into a slightly chewy middle and finishing with medium acidity and that funk/tang that seems particular to Cameron's wines... between this and the similarly priced 16 Dundee Hills I'd say this is much less youthfully disjointed and generally the better choice if looking for a bottle to pop _right now_.

A fairly forward pinot, although maintains a sense of elegance true to Cameron's style; A concentrated core of darker fruits, with a hint of baking spices and earthiness that give it some added complexity; Continues to open up after a few hours of air, which is recommended at this early stage

After being open for a day, this wine was stunning. Let it breathe and it will sing.
