Cellar Tracker can only discover this as a 2014. Torn label on the bottle, so vintage missing. But we think it’s older than 2014 based on other older wines we’d acquired. Regardless, it was skunky.

The sweet nose wafts plum, rhubarb pie, orange marmalade, red currant, and violet. A very plush medium-plus body, the tannins are round and thick and combine nicely with substantive juicy tannin. Structurally this is somewhat lush, but elevated. Flavors include red plum, mountain strawberry, blackberry, baking spice, and a bit of tart orange towards the end. Looking back at previous notes, this has gone through quite a flavor profile evolution, though I would bet it's more of an imagined one than anything else. Structurally it's rounded out nicely, but I don't see why one couldn't hang onto this for another 2-3 years if you were so inclined.

The dark nose provides a trio of bright cherry, black plum and boysenberry compotes with earthy overtones, clove and cigar tobacco. Full bodied with a round, lush and balanced structure that deliver a saturating flavor profile of black plum, rich strawberry, blackberry, graphite minerality, black pepper and a hint of spearmint on the finish. Really good, structurally gorgeous wine with a big imprint of Ribbon Ridge terroir and Cameron's house style. It's accessible now with a brief decant, but I'm going to keep my last remaining bottle for another two-ish years to see how it develops.

Another excellent btl. Pop and pour...very 2014 in being forward/ripe. On the nose: tea leaves, cola, spice, and cranberry. On the palate, fantastic, wild strawberry, cola, black tea...soft tannin on the finish. Showing wondeful secondary, and drinking very well...perhaps peak maturity?

Still red fruit up front with a savory, mushroomy core and a bright finish. Very well integrated at this point and really delicious.
