ABV: 14.1%. A suprisingly fruit-driven nose of plums, cherries, and raspberries with a background of roasted herbs and a hint of oak. Plenty of fruit on the mid-palate with good acidity to keep it lively. A pleasant and lengthy finish for a solid ending. This wine is drinking great now and I don't think it'll improve much with more cellaring. I'd say give it a quick decant prior to serving and be sure to have it with food. Note: Paired very well with braised pork belly.

Nose: toasted oak, mineral, soil, burnt sugar
Palate: prominent oak, well integrated, black fruit, plum
Good value, still drinking well. No evidence that this has declined yet.
