  Nose - very faint pepper and hints of chocolate, had to really search for anything.
  Palate - Light fruit Berries, a bit flat, tannins up front, A long lingering bitterness late into the finish. Disappointed after reading the reviews for the 2014. Not up to Dry Creek Vineyard standards. Will try after 24 hours and see if opens up. Hope age helps.
  24 hours later: Nose - Some berries beginning to show through still almost lacking.
  Palate - The unpleasant bitterness has dissipated, and some Varietal characteristics are starting to show through, still not a big Zin might give it a 84 now. Let this one age.
