Bottle #3 ....and LAST bottle. On nose and palate : consistent notes from past reviews. A splendid example of Sonoma county meets Bordeaux . A full flavoured but refined example of Cabernet blend.

Bottle #2 since September.... On nose and palate, similar notes from 2 months back, but with more balance and less austerity ... an added dimension of tart blueberry and pronounced eucalyptus with a every so slightly fuller body , and more woven in and integrated oak....remeniscent of Mondavi Reserve Napa wine, from earlier vintages ...an underrated vintage of Dry Creek....rib eye steak wine tonight.

A New World wine with Old World backbone. After a 4 hour decant: On nose: mesquite charcoal , fresh cigar tobacco and wiry black currants On palate: follow through of all above flavours ,as well as fresh coffee , vanilla infused oak , minerals, and a ghost of eucalyptus.....a medium bodied and firm food wine . Decanting is a must.....82% Cabernet Sauvignon , and the remaining 18% divided up with Merlot, Cab Franc ,and Malbec ....can age well....great steak wine .

Nice price at Costco, but flabby. Could be this bottle. Plenty of fruit but lacking complexity. Acidity and tannins in balance. Did not improve on day 2. Vigorous aeration helped a bit.

This one was impressive straight from Pnp. Rich, bold, yet elegant for a young wine. Dense and has a nice touch of oak to it. Really enjoyed it.
