Excellent.... I have really enjoyed everything from this producer....always varietally correct and usually a good qpr....no surprise that this tasted more like a 30$ cab...good backbone...fine tannins... Cassis and blackberry...deep flavors and a lasting finish...18$ and more than worth it....

Revisiting this one year later from first bottle, not much has changed, which is a testament to this wine. This was a bit more tart, but still a nice value. Lots of crusting in the bottle.

Not as austere as the 2012, very nice. This is one of the most classy sub $20 cabs out there, imo. Elegant. If I want something a little more Caymus or Hestan Meyer Vineyard-esque at the sub $20 I reach for the Sterling Napa Cab, if I want something more elegant I reach for this.
Dark garnet in color; cherry and blackberry nose with a hint of chocolate; thus cab is silky and full-bodied with a finish that lingers around 30 or 40 seconds. This is a nice well-balanced wine

This did not disappoint, noticeable aromas of berry, earth, and smoke, accompanied by more blue fruit than red on the palate. Juicy acid, nicely balanced and looks great in the glass when pouring. The oak influence is manageable and not overbearing.
