Dark red-brownish hue. Dark fruit, spicy nose. Deeper and richer than average tempranillos. Tannin heavy for a tempranillo. Not bad for a Washington attempt. Always enjoy Kerloo-- diamond in the rough.

Decanted for 30 minutes. I think one would be hard pressed to think this wine was from a very warm vintage like 2014 if the date was not known. Very much red fruited in body, mind and soul - this had snappy crunch with a nice herbal overlay. I thought this was more like Grenache than Tempranillo, but this is an early look. I'll give this 2 or three years to see what develops. Good representation of the Kerloo Style.
